Miss Yo has spent 19 years teaching Pre-K in the Duvall area, and her passion has always been to make sure every preschooler in her class feels excited to come to school and inspired to learn. She believes learning should feel like play, and her students often grow so much without even realizing how much they’re learning—something families consistently celebrate. Recently turning 50, Miss Yo has been married for 28 years and is a proud mom to Madison (25, in Ellensburg) and Sam (22, in Missoula). She also has a beloved cat named Sage. Outside the classroom, she is happiest outdoors—camping, hiking, fishing, soaking up sunshine, and visiting Chelan for its outdoor beauty and wine tasting. She also enjoys working out, reading, watching TV dramas, and spending time with family and friends. Miss Yo’s warmth, expertise, and dedication ensure that every child’s preschool experience is joyful, meaningful, and designed to build strong readiness for kindergarten.

Miss Claudia’s favorite part of teaching preschool is witnessing the pure wonder and joy children feel as they discover the world for the first time—seeing their excitement through their eyes is what inspires her every day. She has spent the past six years teaching young children and is passionate about creating a warm, engaging environment where curiosity, confidence, and early learning naturally flourish. Originally from Peru, Miss Claudia has lived in Duvall for 12 years with her husband, their two active kids, her sweet 15-year-old Shih Tzu, Charlie, and their newest addition, a gecko named Godzilla. Outside the classroom, she loves baking, hiking, reading, learning photography, hosting gatherings, and traveling—especially when it gives her an excuse to scuba dive or snorkel. Miss Claudia’s warmth, enthusiasm, and commitment help ensure that every child’s preschool experience is joyful, meaningful, and filled with the kinds of discoveries that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
